hello mind warriors

we can discuss OrbTV stuff here as well as work on design elements for the stream. We're still mega early on in the project so if you have an idea or want to stream you can say so in here.

Stuff you can work on
short vids, commercials, bumper spots for the channel
long vids, filler content for downtime
your own stream
overlays for streams
OrbTV logos, other TV channel nonsense

it's going to be a fun project and several people already have streams in the works. I'll keep posting updates in here to keep everyone on the same page.

I was thinking about getting into streaming again so maybe it would be cool if I could be hosted on the orbchannel

hi i am working on some adjustments for fantasy flight to make it more interactive and less repetitive
once i start taking calls and my social anxiety gets a little better, i might invite guests for interviews
considering a couple vague concepts which anyone can steal and build on because i think they might work better for others

- interactive soap opera with call-in
- tv psychic or televangelist preaching the word of the mysterious orb
- live audiovisual mashup show
- afternoon talk show called "Ellen 2"
- some kind of game show with results determined by the chat
- also have a few ideas that will work in the future whenever public filming is entirely safe, but there are ways to do remote contribution now with biking, driving, etc

also a few notes:
- it is very possible to do shows with multiple hosts :)
- not sure how to do it but are we going to implement a continuous daily stream? what we can also do is have replays for people who missed previous shows
- should we maybe get a loose weekly schedule going at some point? so no one runs into each other
- add channel on The Chat for development?

definitely willing to do bumps, filler work, or other shorts, also might work on a couple orb logos
if anyone is working on overlays or developing concepts or anything else i am more than happy to help out with anything

sorry i am bad at talking

 i love all these ideas !!
I have been considering streaming at some point and would love to jump in if i have time this fall (depends on class difficulty unfortunately). maybe we should consider an Orb team? i have no idea how twitch teams work but that would be neat. unrelated to that point i can try to throw together some sweet alert graphix, just need some direction on what we'd be lookin for on those
Edit: ok i checked so only people who are partnered can make official teams but that cant stop us from having an unofficial teams setup

@æggdrasil Hello!
I had an idea for a stream I wanted to try out if it was OK
I would play various Build Engine games and then do some game dev within the Build Engine
Maybe an hour of playing, an hour of developing in the engine (using what I learned whilst playing)
I think this idea fits with The Orb's "cyberspace" vibe
Let me know if this could be OK to stream and I could make some graphics and such!

P.S. I have a few ideas for downtime filler content that I will be posting in the coming days...
