Hey so the Orb has a lot of user-generated content, and current efforts to preserve that content are pretty light and generally unplanned. This thread is for talking about preserving or otherwise utilizing the forum's endless stream of content and lore.
What do you think is worth preserving? How should we preserve it?
Da Wiki is a great start. It's like a historical document for the site. One of my favorite things about it is that it records real and fictional events side by side.
I think a good first step would be to put more effort into the wiki. Is there anything that we want to preserve that doesn't currently belong the Wiki? Would reorganizing the wiki encourage a wider range of things to be recorded there?
For the short term, this is my vision:

For the short term, this is my vision:
- some users take on the wiki and flesh it out
- a thread exists (maybe this one for now) as a planning/discussion thread for the wiki
- somebody makes a thread dedicated to Orb Lore and people go crazy there connecting the dots, fleshing out the lore of the site
