i have had many dental operations and i advise anyone to stick to a diet of pudding and applesauce after tooth extractions. i have never had dry socket but am not about to F around and find out. anything that can get caught in the still healing gum will cause you a ton of irritation and pain and is generally not worth the trouble.

it will be a little under a week by then so it's definitely fully healed which kind of defeats this post and makes it sound lame
